Millennials have come up with a creative way to own a home.
Buying a new home with a domestic partner or spouse is the most common way people do it, across generations, according to a new Bankrate Homebuying Trend Survey. However, a higher percentage of millennials have bought a home alone or with a friend or relative and not a domestic partner or spouse.
NTD spoke with analyst Alex Gailey from Bankrate about the survey. She explains how affordability is the key reason millennials have gone this path.
