The South Korean hunk is planning to stay for four days and three nights in Taiwan, including a press conference today and a meeting with his fans on Saturday.
He’s staying in a posh hotel suite for NT$580,000 (US$19,000) per night and is accompanied by an entourage of some 30 people including 10 bodyguards, agents, make-up artists, hair stylists, and other staff. As a son, Gong Yoo also brings his parents in town, who have the staff to take them around Taipei.

Gong’s rise to international stardom accelerated when he starred in the 2016 hit film “Train to Busan” – which tells the story of a group of terrified passengers on a train ride during a nationwide outbreak of a mysterious virus.
He has also starred in the Korean drama “Guardian: The Lonely and Great God” (Goblin) — which became a huge hit across Asia last year.
