Federal officials have authorized emergency funds to combat the expanding Silver King Fire in Utah, which has scorched nearly 11,000 acres in Piute County. The Federal Emergency Management Agency approved Utah’s request for fire management assistance late Sunday as the Silver King Fire continued to spread near Marysvale.
