Lyon bid a fond farewell to Shen Yun Performing Arts as the curtains fell on its mesmerizing performances on April 21. The renowned troupe left an indelible impression on theatergoers, who shared their awe and delight at the transcendent experience.
Former Senior Executive at Orange, Jean-Marie Montel, was moved to tears by the breathtaking spectacle. “I just cried because it was so beautiful,” he shared. “I was just dazzled by the acrobatic qualities of the dancing. It’s a bath of beauty, grace, and elevation.”
Former Doctor Alain Vieux-Rochas echoed the sentiment, describing the performance as an infusion of inner energy. “There is an inner energy in the movement, in the colors, in the flowers,” he remarked. “We see the connection between the Earth and Heaven.”
For former Business Owner Francis Barrouilhet, Shen Yun surpassed expectations. “It’s great, it’s colorful, very lively,” he exclaimed. “I’ve wanted to see it for a long time and I’m really not disappointed; it’s really very good.”
Accompanied by a live symphony orchestra, Shen Yun’s fusion of Eastern and Western instruments added another layer of enchantment. Violinist Florence Bachelard praised the impeccable choreography and the orchestra’s contribution to the experience.
Mr. Montel encapsulated the sentiment, expressing, “I’m filled with admiration, joy, and serenity, and energy, too. That’s exactly it. It makes you feel good. It’s a bath of beauty and humanity.”
For those seeking an extraordinary journey through the realms of art and spirituality, Shen Yun promises an unforgettable experience.
