Shen Yun successfully wrapped-up three shows at the Großes Festspielhaus in Salzburg, Austria, on Feb. 10 and 11. Here’s what audience members had to say.
“The choreography is incredibly beautiful, the costumes are exquisite and the artistry is quite amazing. These dancers and musicians are divine beings, and it’s really a reflection of the heart, those movements express the divinity within us,” said Brigitte Kindermann-Reitzle, a famous photographer.
“I’m thrilled. I am very stunned. I can only recommend it. … You can see the loyalty, you can see the appreciation, you can feel the dedication and the passion. Altogether a collection of beautiful feelings,” said Günter Henseler, a commercial director at Fachklinik Bad Heilbrunn.
Shen Yun’s mission is to restore 5,000 years of Chinese culture and values, believed to be rooted in divinity.
“The performance alone is divine. And the feeling that you get to experience, to be part of it, is also divine,” said Mr. Henseler.
“We humans are divine beings. Especially those artists who dance and create music, express the divinity in their hearts. This message is conveyed to people, allowing people to treat others with love, tolerance and forgiveness, and compassion. Everyone has their own characteristics, accepting each other is a kind of giving and receiving,” said Ms. Kindermann-Reitzle.
Christian Wehrschütz is an award-winning senior journalist of an Austrian national television network, head of the press office in Kiev, and a war correspondent. He said “To see this world of legends or these stories that are told, which of course have ancient Chinese origins. And that is also very interesting … For me, the performance shows many of these signs of compassion and togetherness. And that is certainly very important.”
Shen Yun will continue its European tour through May 11.
