Shen Yun has been performing in France for almost a month and will continue its tour in 7 cities until May.
“Pure joy, I have never seen anything as beautiful,” said Wilfred Godier who is a dancer.
“The dancers, it’s beautiful, it’s perfection, it’s great,” said Réjane Le Clanche, who taught classical ballet for 33 years.
“Like a mile a minute they find themselves in a line, in a circle, diagonally, big thrown, big splits jumps. it was very beautiful, very beautiful.”
“The stories … I cried at certain times. It was so moving,” Le Clanche added. “The effects of the decorations, they disappear, there is the god who arrives. It’s beautiful, incredible. I am 83 years old and I have never seen anything more beautiful.”
As dancers themselves, they were both amazed by the performers’ perfection.
“The show was magnificent and perfect, and despite this perfection, I found a lot of humanity that emerged from the dancers and singers,” added Godier. “It was sumptuous colors, it looks very airy, very aquatic. I find that all the elements are represented in the same show.”
Godier added that the performance has a positive energy and said that everyone should see it at least once.
“I just felt this kindness, this compassion toward themselves, towards the public, and what they want to transmit to the world in general,” he added.
“It’s a beautiful synthesis of colors and poetry in this gray world, in which we live without a soul, then it changes and becomes better. And we get out of there refreshed!”
Godier added that Shen Yun is a must-see. “It’s one of the essentials of existence, you have to know this show at least once, at all costs”
