Shen Yun Performing Arts graced the stage in Berlin, Germany, on April 17 and April 18. Audience members received them with warm applause after being mesmerized by their artistry.
Gisbert Komlossy, the CEO and founder of Intan Group, said that he “found the impact, the music, the color, the commitment of the people, how they danced and how they create so much power, I thought that was great. I have to say I was impressed.”
Maddox Marsollek, a German music prodigy, said that he “thought the music was very good. I thought the colors were nice, and also the costumes that they were wearing.”
Betuel Green, a co-founder of his own business, said, “I specifically love the instrumental part and the violins and the orchestra. I know they’re down there, but it’s fine because we hear them and the live music changes the whole aspect of the show.”
Shen Yun draws its inspiration from China’s 5,000 years of civilization and virtues, a culture that was believed to find its roots in the Divine. Theatergoers deeply appreciated the message that Shen Yun presented, expressing their thoughts on how important it is for the world today.
Marta Caparros Rodriguez, a scientist at the prestigious Max Planck Institute, said, “I also really liked the mention of people’s inner values, which are sometimes forgotten and neglected in today’s world. I think this is very important. The connection between our existence and a spiritual existence, how we belong to something bigger, and are all a part of it. I also felt that message in the dance.”
Mr. Komlossy also said, “I think it is also important to transfer certain values from the past into the present. And this gives you a different world, perhaps also a different spiritual world. And you can also imagine how people used to live there.”
Shen Yun has an all-new program every year, including new dances, music, stories, and backdrops. But for many audience members, Shen Yun is more than just a performance.
Miss Rodriguez said, “I would like to thank you very much for your message and for sharing this with us. And I would ask you to come again and continue.”
Peter Richter, the owner of his own business, said, “I can only say to everyone, come and see it, no matter where. It’s definitely worth it, it’s a great experience.”
Shen Yun will be performing in Duisburg, Germany, on April 23 and April 24.
