Shen Yun Performing Arts continues its UK tour. Audience members in Woking, Surrey, were amazed at Shen Yun’s dancers. A professional and successful dancer couldn’t hide her excitement after watching the Shen Yun performance.
“I thought it was absolutely stunning. The synchronicity of the dancers was phenomenal. And the technique was outstanding … how they can be so in time with each other, and so perfect. It was like watching one person that was multiplied,” said Jody Jackson.
As a singer, dancer, and actress, Ms. Jackson said she could feel the energy and passion from the dancers: “every single one of them put their heart and soul into the actual performance. So it was unique. It was amazing. … They, everyone had the passion within them just oozing out and showing through all their movements and everything.”
Stephanie Gavan, a psychologist and therapist, said she tried to watch Shen Yun so many times, and this Thursday she finally came with her son and a friend.
She found Shen Yun dancers’ physical feats incredible: “You don’t see that normally, anywhere. Even our ballet isn’t as athletic as that. …. It was just superhuman. Really. The whole thing. I’ve just never seen anything like it.”
Software engineer Richard Gill said, besides the dances, he also liked the messages of kindness behind the stories.
He said: “It’s a really nice message because kindness can be a thing that’s lacking a lot in the world today. And even if you’re not spiritual, just that idea of being kind would be rewarded in some way is an important thing because a lot of people just wouldn’t do it otherwise. And we need more kindness, not less.”
