Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) reintroduced a resolution on Nov. 6 to censure Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.), accusing the latter of “anti-Semitic activity and sympathizing with terrorist organizations.”
The move came after 23 Republicans joined all 199 Democrats to table her previous resolution against Ms. Tlaib on Nov. 1, as some lawmakers disagreed with the use of term “insurrection” in the bill—which accused Ms. Tlaib of “antisemitic activity, sympathizing with terrorist organizations, and leading an insurrection at the United States Capitol Complex.”
Just before Ms. Greene renewed her censure, Rep. Rich McCormick (R-Ga.) introduced a similar resolution to censure Ms. Tlaib. He voted against Mr. Greene’s resolution last week because of the term “insurrection.”
