Privacy regulators in the UK and Europe are keeping a watchful eye on the roll-out of the Worldcoin cryptocurrency scheme co-founded by Open-AI CEO Sam Altman. Worldcoin offers free cryptocurrency tokens to people who are willing to share their biometric data by scanning their eyeballs with a special “orb.” The company says over two million people have already signed up.
