On Monday afternoon, Santa Fe locals discovered a pink dolphin on the Yapacani River’s banks in Bolivia.

The animal was moved to deeper waters of the river by the residents and San Carlos municipality authorities, and was released later that day.

The largest risks to this species are deforestation, water pollution, and increased agricultural production.
