Peru Port Could Face Trump’s China Tariffs

The United States, Canada, and India are reevaluating their trade ties with China, as Beijing faces accusations that it’s flooding overseas markets with cheap imports and bypassing tariffs.

According to a senior aide to incoming president Donald Trump, the United States should impose 60 percent tariffs on goods not only from China, but on any goods that pass through a port that China funded in Peru, no matter what country of origin the goods come from.
