Pentagon Press Secretary Maj. Gen. Pat Ryder said at a Tuesday press conference that the United States would like to know more about Ukraine’s long-term plans after its military’s foray into the Kursk region of Russia, before officially announcing U.S. support.
Gen. Ryder acknowledged what he called the Ukrainian military’s “creativity and battlefield prowess” exhibited during the move, but says the two nations’ leaders are still discussing future objectives for the time after the incursion.
