The race was a closely contested battle, with China going toe-to-toe with the Americans. Ultimately, the USA proved too strong as they touched the wall with a world record time of 3:37.43.
China secured a silver medal with an Asian record, while Australia took home the bronze with an Oceanic record.

The final podium featured Crouser in gold, Kovacs in silver, and Campbell in bronze.
USA Men’s gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik won a bronze medal on the pommel horse Saturday. He will be the only male gymnast from the United States to win an individual medal in the 2024 Paris games.
The pommel horse is Nedoroscik’s specialty, and his routine for the bronze was even more intricate than the one he used during the qualifying.
He seemed pleased with the showing, giving a thumbs up to the camera when he finished.
He earned a 15.3 behind Nariman Kurbanov of Kazakhstan and Rhys McClenaghan of Ireland.

Austin Krajicek and Rajeev Ram took the first set and broke the Australian pair’s serve in the second set. From there, Australians Matthew Ebden and John Peers broke back and maintained the momentum through three tiebreaks, finally winning 10–8 on the fourth match point.
