One of the oldest fountains in Paris—la fontaine des Innocents—has been restored to its original magnificence just in time for the 2024 Olympic Games.
The “Fountain of the Innocents” in the center of the capital showcases French Renaissance artwork, serving as the inspiration for many other monuments and artworks in Paris and throughout Europe. Parts of the original façade were featured in a recent exhibition at a Paris museum.
