Authorities are on the hunt for a missing aircraft part after a light plane lost a rear door midflight over Buffalo, New York on Feb. 12. The plane landed safely at Buffalo Niagara International Airport, and the two occupants had no reported injuries.
A winter storm is dumping snow on New York City and other parts of the northeast on Feb. 13. The nor’easter is knocking out power and disrupting travel. More than six inches of snow has already been reported across the region, and it could be the biggest snowfall for New York City in more than two years.
