President-elect Donald Trump has chosen Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.) to serve as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, Trump said in a statement on Monday.
Stefanik, the 40-year-old House Republican Conference chair, has been a fierce Trump ally.
President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris participated in a Veterans Day wreath-laying ceremony on Monday at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Arlington National Cemetery. Biden also delivers remarks at the Memorial Amphitheater in Arlington.
