Iran appeared to downplay the strike. It reported no casualties or damage from the airstrike, and said the nuclear facilities were secure. Israel has not commented on the strike.
The House voted to move forward on the foreign aid package for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. Democrats supported the move, while opposition came from the more conservative members of the GOP.
Jury selection is completed in former President Donald Trump’s hush money trial, as five remaining alternate jurors were sworn in. While the trial was underway, a man set himself on fire outside the courthouse.
