“Catfish” host Nev Schulman is ready to help “Big Brother” contestant Dina Lohan after she revealed she’s never met her boyfriend of five years.

On Thursday, Feb. 7, Dina Lohan revealed on “Celebrity Big Brother” that she’s been talking to “a special someone” for the past five years, but they’ve never actually seen each other in person or even FaceTimed.

“I can’t wait to tell you about this guy,” Lohan told Kandi Burruss, Tamar Braxton, and Natalie Eva Marie via People. “I’ve been talking to him for five years. Like, every day. A lot. I feel like I know him.”

Lohan explained that she hasn’t met the mystery man yet because he lives in San Francisco and cares for his mother, and he also doesn’t use FaceTime to video chat.

“You know when you talk to someone on the phone like you feel like you know them?” she added. “It’s personal. He’s real. I swear, it’s crazy. But I’m going to marry him. It’s really, really true. I talk to his ma!”

While the 56-year-old mother of Lindsay Lohan seemed convinced it was the real deal, her fellow houseguests Burruss, Braxton, and Marie thought she was likely being catfished, or lured into a relationship by someone with a fake online profile.

“You gotta be kidding me,” Catfish host Yaniv “Nev” Schulman wrote on Twitter the next day, alongside a screenshot of the news story about Lohan’s “mystery man.”

“Let’s do this!” he added, seemingly indicating he would like to investigate Lohan’s mystery man on his MTV reality show, which tracks down online daters to bring them face-to-face with their partners while exposing their fake accounts, reported People.

“He would love to help her,” Schulman’s rep told Page Six. “He is in production now and would love to connect and make an [episode] if she’s interested.”

Braxton, 41, also wasn’t convinced and offered to go along with Lohan to visit the mystery man in San Francisco. “I’ll come with you, but he don’t want to meet me. Catfish!” she said, according to Us Weekly.

Lohan was previously married to Michael Lohan from 1985 to 2007. In addition to their daughter Lindsay, 32, they share sons Michael Jr., 31, and Cody, 22, as well as daughter Aliana, 25.

Lohan’s ex-husband told The Blast he has heard about the mystery man and claimed that she used to describe him as a “stalker.”

“How she thinks he’s a boyfriend is beyond me, but hey, stranger things have happened with Dina,” he said. “I just hope she’s not putting herself in a dangerous position with this guy.”

Like her housemates, he also admitted the situation seems odd.

“It strikes me weird that after five years they haven’t met given he said he’s so wealthy,” he added.

Daughter Lindsay Lohan also expressed concern over the matter. While she showed her support for her mother on Instagram following the revelation, she also made it clear it might be time to find another special someone.

She commented on BBC BigBrother’s Instagram, “@dinalohan so proud of you mommy! But no more weird #catfish please.”
