Nadler: The US Can Afford the Mass Influx of Illegal Immigrants Amid Crisis in Cities

At a House Rules Committee hearing on Capitol Hill on Sept. 18, Rep. Jerrod Nadler (D-N.Y.) told Rep. Ralph Norman (R-S.C.) that he believes the United States, as a nation, can afford the heavy influx of illegal immigrants coming through the beleaguered southern border since Title 42 was lifted this year by President Joe Biden. His comments come after New York City Mayor Eric Adams recently declared that the city cannot handle the high costs if the influx of illegal immigrants.
