The House Budget Committee holds a hearing titled “Sounding the Alarm: Pathways and Possible Solutions to the U.S. Fiscal Crisis” at 10:00 a.m. ET on Dec. 11.

Witnesses include David Walker, seventh comptroller general of the United States; Kurt Couchman, senior fellow in fiscal policy for Americans for Prosperity; Romina Boccia, director of budget and entitlement policy at Cato Institute; and Douglas Elmendorf, professor of public policy, Harvard Kennedy School of Government.
