Members of Congress and industry leaders gathered on July 26 in a small town in Michigan to oppose the opening of Gotion High Tech’s electric vehicle battery manufacturing facility because of the company’s ties to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They accuse the company of profiting off of forced labor.
