The Porter Valley Country Club in Northridge came alive, excited at the attendance and participation of star athletes, entertainers, VIP’s, and public figures: all teeing off for an event blending competition, fun, and charity.
Now in its sixth year, the Golf Celebrity Classic was started by the well-known TV Personality Kiki Shephard to raise awareness and funds for Sickle Cell Disease and the K.I.S Foundation: hosted by the iconic ex-LA Lakers NBA Champion and Head Coach Byron Scott. The presence of the Los Angeles Lakers and other athletes shone a light on the fundraising charitable event for this important cause to ensure that it was both entertaining and having a tremendous effect, as well as packed with star quality.
A sunny and inspiring event where entertainment and philanthropy merged to create lasting change.
