Five Chinese companies may soon have to delist from the New York Stock Exchange.
One of them is Yum China. The restaurant company is known for owning fast food kitchens inside China, including a few names a little more familiar to Americans, like KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut. Yum China controls these chains’ China-based restaurants.
But Yum China and four more Chinese companies are facing a major problem: they’re caught in a new auditing dispute between Beijing and Washington. The issue sent their shares tumbling on Friday.
