A U.S. Supreme Court decision is expected Tuesday which will determine whether or not Virginia can remove alleged noncitizens from its voter rolls before the election. The state sought the court’s intervention after the Justice Department filed a lawsuit against Virginia earlier this month, targeting a governor-issued executive order that formalized a systematic effort to remove noncitizens from voter registration lists.
