At a pro-Palestinian rally in Paris this week, French political influencer Elias d’Imzalène called for an intifada in Paris, with the end goal of “liberating” Jerusalem.
France’s Interior Minister, Gérald Darmanin, has taken legal action against him for incitement to violence, and French media have reported that d’Imzalène is recognized by French authorities as a potential threat to national security. The authorities are taking his statements as a serious call for armed insurrection in France.
