A video of a 3-year-old girl greeting her brother she used to fight with constantly has had thousands of views on social media.
Ava and Tariq Jackson, who live outside Philadephia, used to fight constantly. Their mother, Verlonda Jackson, decided to record the moment they reunited after Tariq had started school on Monday, Nov. 13.
The video shows the pair hugging enthusiastically after Tariq steps off the school bus. Verlonda says she recorded the video to show her husband.
“Sometimes the fighting makes me want to scream or cry, or both,” she wrote on Instagram. “I wonder what I’m doing wrong as a parent, and I lament the fact that two of the people I love the most don’t seem to like each other at times.”

“I pulled out my phone to show my husband, ‘Look, we’re doing something right,” she told ABC News.
“It was such a pure moment.”
In fact, since Tariq started kindergarten, “they greet each other with hugs, kisses, and walk home arm and arm saying things like, “Your my favorite person.” “Thanks. Your my favorite person, too,” Verlonda wrote.
“As a parent that’s the best I can hope for.”
The short video has clocked up over 29,000 views on Instagram.
