The oil market is in a tailspin and gas prices are falling fast.
Gas prices in the United States fell to a fresh six-month low of $3.31 per gallon on Thursday.
That’s down 50 cents from the same date last year, according to AAA.
Drivers in 10 U.S. states including Texas, Kentucky, and Kansas are paying an average of less than $3 a gallon.
Experts expect that nine more states will also drop below the $3-a-gallon mark over the next two weeks.
