France has recorded 63,000 business failures in 2024, with 90 percent involving small businesses of fewer than 10 employees. Key sectors like real estate, construction, hairdressing, beauty care, bakeries, and clothing are most severely affected, as inflation and weak economic growth continue to weigh heavily on French businesses.
