The director of FEMA announced Thursday that the agency had enough funds to handle the damage of hurricanes Helene and Milton, but that it would not have enough money to last through the rest of the year. At least 14 people have died in Florida and nearly 3 million are without power in the wake of Milton, with the state anticipating a higher death toll.
