A Florida deputy rescued a five-year-old boy from possibly drowning in a pond on Tuesday. According to the Volusia Sherriff’s Office, the boy’s parents called 911 after he crawled out of a window at the Deltona family’s home.
The child, who has autism, was later found hanging onto a log in a nearby pond, where he was rescued by deputies. The Volusia Sherriff’s office released body camera footage of the boy being found and brought out of the water.
