Lara Trump gave birth to President Donald Trump’s newest grandson on Tuesday.
Eric “Luke” Trump was born at 8:50 a.m. The boy’s father, Eric Trump, sent out a photo of the swaddled newborn on Twitter just past noon.
Eric “Luke” is the first child for the couple and the ninth grandchild for President Trump.
President Trump has five children, three of whom now have children of their own.
Donald Trump Jr., the president’s oldest son, has five children with wife Vanessa Trump: Kai Madison Trump, 9; Donald John III, 8; Tristan Milos Trump, 5; Spencer Frederick Trump, 4; and Chloe Sophia Trump, 2.
President Trump’s daughter Ivanka has three children with Jared Kushner: Arabella Rose Kushner, 5; Joseph Frederick Kushner, 3; and Theodore James Kushner, 1.
Ivanka Trump sent a message to welcome little Eric.
“Welcome to the world, baby boy,” she wrote on Twitter. “I can’t wait to meet you.”
Eric Trump married Lara Trump in November, 2014, at the Mar a Lago resort—the same setting as Donald Trump’s marriage to Melania Trump in 2006, Town and Country reported.
The entire family attended the wedding. Donald Trump Jr. served as the best man and Ivanka Trump’s daughter, Arabella, was the flower girl. Jared Kushner served as the officiant.
Donald Trump Jr. congratulated the new father as well.
“Congrats buddy. Welcome to the club,” Donald Trump Jr. wrote on Twitter. “Now that the niceties are out of the way it’s older brother revenge for that drum set to my kids.”
