At their last meeting, Federal Reserve officials acknowledged that the U.S. economy appears to be slowing. Their analysis also showed, however, that price pressures are diminishing, though they still recommended a wait-and-see approach before committing to interest rate cuts. That’s according to the minutes of the Fed’s June 11–12 meeting, which were released Wednesday.
