Drone footage shows dozens of illegal immigrants bound for the U.S. border sitting on top of a cargo train crossing northeast Mexico on Sept. 21. U.S. border authorities encountered more than 142,000 illegal immigrants at the U.S.-Mexico border in the first half of September, according to data shared by Mexico’s president. Mexican rail operator Ferromex recently stopped some cargo trains a day after a spate of deaths and serious injuries of migrants riding on them.
