Former Democratic National Committee head Donna Brazile was signed by Fox News, the company said on March 18.
“Brazile, a veteran Democratic strategist, will offer political analysis across both FNC and FOX Business Network’s daytime and primetime programming,” Fox said in a statement.
Brazile, who worked for CNN as a political analyst, said she is “delighted” to join Fox.
“I know I’m going to get criticized from my friends in the progressive movement for being on Fox News,” she said, reported the New York Post.
In an opinion article on March 18, Brazile explained why she joined Fox News ahead of the 2020 presidential election.

The 59-year-old suggested that over the past several years, communication between Democrats and Republicans has sharply declined.
“We no longer simply agree to disagree. Too often we demonize the intentions of others. Our lines of communication are frayed, if not broken,” she wrote, adding that she, too, has been swayed by emotion while working in the political arena.
“I fully admit that in my previous lives as a campaign staffer, presidential campaign manager, and Democrat Party official, my own lack of civility in the heat of battle has been on full display. And it wasn’t pretty,” Brazile wrote.

“I should have been wise enough and humble enough to have listened to my mother, Jean …. to shut up and allow my siblings to speak, and to listen—really listen—to what they had to say,” she added.
However, it doesn’t appear that she will espouse a conservative viewpoint on the network.
“Will I agree with my fellow commentators at Fox News? Probably not. But I will listen,” Brazile wrote.
A Fox News source told The Hill that she won’t be involved with debates or town halls hosted by Fox.
Three years ago, she was named as the interim head of the DNC when Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Democratic congresswoman from Florida, resigned. In July 2016, she also suspended her relationships with CNN and ABC, where she had contributed.
WikiLeaks in 2016 also released emails that showed that she gave questions in advance of CNN’s broadcasts of the Democratic primary debates to the Hillary Clinton campaign. CNN severed ties with her.
“We are completely uncomfortable with what we have learned about her interactions with the Clinton campaign while she was a CNN contributor,” CNN said at the time.
She was also former Democratic presidential candidate Al Gore’s campaign manager in 2000. And she worked on other presidential campaigns, including for Jesse Jackson, Walter Mondale, and Dick Gephardt.
Trump: Bring Back Judge Jeanine
Judge Jeanine Pirro’s show didn’t air on the night of March 16 days after the Fox News host made remarks about Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Minn.).
“A Fox spokesperson says, ‘We are not commenting on internal scheduling matters’ and yet, without some public explanation of why the show was pulled—it certainly looks like a suspension,” Fox News host Howard Kurtz said on the air on March 17.
Kurtz reiterated Pirro’s remarks about Omar.
….must stay strong and fight back with vigor. Stop working soooo hard on being politically correct, which will only bring you down, and continue to fight for our Country. The losers all want what you have, don’t give it to them. Be strong & prosper, be weak & die! Stay true….

“Omar wears a hijab, which according to the Quran 33:59 tells women to cover so they won’t get molested. Is her adherence to this Islamic doctrine indicative of her adherence to Sharia law, which in itself is antithetical to the United States Constitution?” he said.
President Trump on March 17 said that Fox is engaging in self-sabotage by not airing Pirro’s show, effectively kowtowing to the left.
“The Radical Left Democrats, working closely with their beloved partner, the Fake News Media, is using every trick in the book to SILENCE a majority of our Country,” Trump wrote on Twitter. “They have all out campaigns against @FoxNews hosts who are doing too well.”
