The National Weather Service says the heat this week could be hazardous. A dangerous late August heat wave is set to continue over the Midwest before building into the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast by mid-week. People who are spending a lot time outdoors or inside without sufficient cooling could be at extra risk of heat-related injuries.
