Rep. Young Kim (R-Calif.) says the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been actively persecuting and imprisoning family members of Radio Free Asia journalists who have been reporting on the Uyghur Genocide. She took time to expose what is happening in China’s Xinjiang province at a House Foreign Affairs Committee Mark-up meeting to discuss bills related to the Indo-Pacific area in Washington on Wednesday.
Ms. Kim says awareness of the issue needs to be transformed into national support for the plight of the Uyghurs and other groups oppressed by the CCP.
