Assassination Attempt May Affect Trump Campaign, But Not His Legal Cases: Legal Expert

A federal judge on Monday dismissed former President Donald Trump’s classified documents case. She said the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith violated the Constitution, and that he did not have the authority to bring the case.

Mr. Trachman said that while the attempt on the former president’s life may affect his election campaign, it will not influence the legal cases he is involved with.
