Major U.S. airstrikes were carried out over the weekend against Iran-backed groups in Syria, Iraq, and Yemen. The strikes were made in retaliation to last week’s drone attack on a U.S. Military base in Jordan, which killed three U.S. service members and wounded over 40 others.
