A President Cannot Pardon Anyone From a State or Local Case: Legal Fellow on Trump Cases

District Attorney Fani Willis has been disqualified from President-elect Donald Trump’s Georgia election interference case. The state’s Court of Appeals wrote “that it erred by failing to disqualify DA Willis and her office.”

Meanwhile, the indictment in Georgia and conviction in New York still stand.
