NTD’s 7th International Piano Competition will be held in New York City from Oct. 14 to 19. The competition will showcase the glory of piano music from the Baroque, Classical, and Romantic eras, and promote traditional arts of pure authenticity, goodness, and beauty.
The NTD International Piano Competition is one in a series of international cultural and arts events sponsored by NTD Television. It will feature a designated piece adapted from the work of the artistic director of Shen Yun Performing Arts.
The piece combines the essence of Eastern and Western classical music. It draws inspiration from ancient Chinese melodies and is brought to life with Western instruments.
Semifinal competitors will have a chance to compete for the “Best Rendition Award.”
There will be six days of competition, and winners will be selected in a total of six award categories.
The semifinal and final rounds of the competition will be broadcast live from the Kaufman Music Center in New York City.
