Israel in Greater Need of US Aid Than Ukraine, as It Has No Close Neighbors Willing to Support It: Editor

The House of Representatives is attempting to distribute foreign aid to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan, with separate votes set to take place for each disbursement. NTD speaks with Sumantra Maitra, the director of the American Ideas Institute and an editor at the American Conservative, who says Israel is in greater need of U.S. aid than Ukraine because Israel’s nearby neighbors—such as Egypt and Jordan—will not support it, whereas Ukraine has neighbors that can.
