Los Angeles police moved in Thursday night to disperse the pro-Palestinian protesters at UCLA. The move came after counter-protesters had come in and attacked the camp. However, a student journalist said these persons were most likely not students. LAPD investigations are ongoing.
At the same time, the Jewish Federation Los Angeles wrote in a statement that the counter-protesters “do not represent the Jewish community or our values,” and that as for the local Jewish community, “we believe in peaceful, civic discourse.”
