‘Very Very Sad’ to See Hong Kong Can’t Hold Vigil to Commemorate 35th Tiananmen Massacre Anniversary: Pro-Democracy Activist

For years, people in Hong Kong held a large-scale vigil to commemorate the Tiananmen Square massacre. However, this year, there was no vigil, and the city saw a heavy police presence. NTD interviewed Simon Cheng, a pro-democracy activist and founder of Hongkongers in Britain, to discuss the silencing of dissent in Hong Kong and the resignation of senior British judges from Hong Kong’s courts.
