On the note of the Three Gorges Dam, we’ve been monitoring the situation. One interesting thing that has come up is the issue of nuclear power plants in the Yangtze River Basin.

On August 24, Guo Wengui, broke the news in a live broadcast that there are three nuclear power plants around the Three Gorges Dam. If the dyke breaks, these nuclear power plants may cause a huge disaster. The issue of the safety of nuclear power plants in mainland China has long been raised by experts, but the mainland media has frequently misled the public by propagating the so-called “low probability of accidents at nuclear power plants.”

Meanwhile, a prominent advisor to the Chinese government has declared that democracy and freedom are poisons and cults that conflict with the government. Jin Canrong, whose titles include an Adviser of Policy Planning Office of the National People’s Congress, said in a video speech that “democracy is poison and cult.”
