Texas Redistricting Case Could Have National Implications

Texas has a closely watched election case about a 2021 Galveston County redistricting plan, which broke up a Democratic precinct that was majority black and Hispanic. Once again, the question is, was this constitutional? The 5th Circuit Court was hearing this case but did not indicate when it would issue a ruling.
