House Speaker Mike Johnson introduced a border security bill on Wednesday in a bid to appease disgruntled conservatives within the GOP. Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.), chair of the House on Border Security and Enforcement Subcommittee, says the new bill mirrors many sections of H.R. 2, but is a little weaker.
