Maine ‘Making a Big Mistake’ by Joining Compact of National Popular Vote: Legal Expert

Maine earlier this week became the latest state to approve a national popular vote law, meaning the state will award its electoral college votes to the winner of the national popular vote in the presidential election. Hans von Spakovsky, senior legal fellow at the Heritage Foundation, says Maine is making a big mistake and is doing a disservice to voters in that state.
