Chinese Jet Fires Flares, Forcing Australian Helicopter Into ‘Evasive Action’

China’s foreign ministry on Monday accused an Australian aircraft of deliberately flying close to a Chinese jet, saying it had endangered China’s maritime security. Meanwhile, Germany has sent two warships to the Indo-Pacific amid rising tensions in the region.
