National Park Service officials have found a body at the Grand Canyon in Arizona that appears to belong to a man who disappeared as he traveled down the Colorado River on a raft last month.
Thomas Robison, 58, went missing while he was traveling down the Colorado river on a homemade raft with his dog.
His abandoned vehicle was found at a nearby boat launch point.
Officials believe it’s Robison’s body that they recovered from the river on Friday.
They say a medical examiner is working to officially identity the man and determine his cause of death.
The case remains under investigation.
